Riot Women of Cambridge
I'm super excited to announce the launch of the Riot Women of Cambridge, a photoshoot and movement that encourages individuality, confidence, and authentic style for women of all ages.
Inspired by the BBC TV series Riot Women – in which a group of middle-aged ladies set up a punk band and find themselves in the process – this new project invites women to rediscover their fashion freedom, embracing bold, quirky outfits that speak to who they truly are.
As women reach their 40s, 50s, and beyond, many find themselves feeling invisible in a society that often limits how older women are expected to dress.
Through Trash Chic I want to give women a space to feel empowered and confident in their clothes, no matter their age. Fashion should be fun and expressive, and the Riot Women of Cambridge (all Trash Chic customers) are reflecting just that: confidently embracing their unique style and letting their clothes reflect their personality.
This is more than just a place to shop. It's a community where women of all ages can feel confident in their choices and proud of their personal style. With the freedom to shop without the pressure of seasonal trends, they are finding joy in clothes that are as unique as they are.
